Winter Light
Come celebrate the days of December and enjoy a morning of story telling and incredible art activities around the story Winter Light. For children ages 6 and beyond, children need to be accompanied by an adult.

PRESENTER: Marie Olofsdotter is a poet, painter, author, and illustrator of several books for children. Her many awards include a Minnesota Book Award, as well as grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Jerome Foundation. She was a 2007 Loft Mentor Series Winner in poetry, and has a picture book forthcoming from Holiday House, NY, in 2010. Olofsdotter has been working as a creative consultant and teaching artist for over 15 years. A native of Sweden, she now lives near the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. www.marieolofsdotter.com. |
